Upon arriving at the Maleny Hotel, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a refreshing welcome drink that set the tone for a delightful stay. The half house accommodation surpassed our expectations, with two spacious queen beds and a sofa bed, perfect for a group of friends or family. The private balcony offered a serene view of the lush garden and nearby creek, creating a tranquil atmosphere for relaxation.The housekeeping was exceptional, ensuring our shared facilities and room were spotless throughout our visit. We indulged in the delicious seasonal menu at the Bistro, complemented by the Chef's daily specials, which truly impressed our taste buds. The nightly happy hour at the bar provided a perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy some local tunes, creating a vibrant and festive ambiance.One highlight of our stay was discovering the hotel's proximity to the beautiful Obi Obi Creek, where we had the pleasure of spotting a playful platypus in its natural habitat. The hotel's commitment to sustainability, including offering gluten-free options and eco-friendly practices, resonated with my values as an environmental scientist. I highly recommend this establishment for its exceptional service, scenic surroundings, and dedication to providing a memorable stay.
